资源简介:
This table contains figures on the participation in a lifelong development of the working population aged 15 to 75 in the Netherlands. The data can be broken down by different background characteristics such as gender, age, employment position, working hours and seniority.
At the same time, people receive formal training as a non-formal training. These persons are included in this table among those undergoing formal training. As a result, the number of persons undergoing non-formal training in this table is slightly lower than the actual number of persons undergoing non-formal training.
Data available from 2013 to 2022
Status of the figures:
The figures in this table are final.
Amendments as of 1 June 2023:
None, this is a new table.
This table has been compiled on the basis of the Occupational Population Survey (EBB). Due to changes in the EBB’s research design and questionnaire, the 2021 figures are not necessarily comparable to those up to 2020. The key figures in this table have therefore been made consistent with the (non-seasonally adjusted) figures in the Labour Participation table, seasonally adjusted key figures (see paragraph 4), recalculating the results for the period 2013-2020 in order to align with the results from 2021 onwards. In further detailing the results by job and personal characteristics, there may nevertheless be differences between 2020 and 2021 as a result of the new methodology. In this table we mainly see a break from previous years in the figures on participation in non-formal education.
This includes the fact that the EBB questionnaire has become personal, whereas previously respondents were asked about the situation for the whole family or household.
Now everyone answers only for themselves and no longer for others. For non-formal training, it appears that if they are given up by others, they are less well measured.
When will there be new figures?
The new figures are published every year in February
This table is the successor to the Lifelong Learning Table; employed labour force, employment characteristics, 2003-2021. See paragraph 3.
