Mobility survey of potential and occasional users of VTCs

6t research office carried out a survey as part of the prospective study on the development of demand for PHVs in France carried out on behalf of Uber. The survey asked people living in urban areas who have not taken a private car in their place of residence in the last 12 months to target potential users of private cars. The questionnaire was self-administered and distributed online. The collection lasted one month, from 29 May to 17 June 2024. The database contains 1501 valid observations. Each observation is then weighted to ensure the representativeness of the survey sample. It is therefore necessary to use the variable “weight\_rectification” to analyse this survey. The sample is representative for persons aged at least 18 years, residing in an urban area in metropolitan France in terms of gender, age, socio-professional category and place of residence. This survey made it possible to identify the potential use of the VTC in daily mobility.
