Metagenome-Assembled Genomes for the study "Analysis of the real risk of bats as reservoirs of emerging pathogens". The objective of this was characterize ARG diversity in a wildlife reservoir subjected to contrasting levels of human influence. We investigated homologs of known resistance mechanisms from the Comprehensive Antibiotic Resistance Database in shotgun metagenomes derived from bat guano. Samples were collected from a bat colony continuously exposed to anthropogenic activity in Spain and from a wild, non-human-impacted bat community in China.
