Moss display Life cycle assessment model

This dataset contains Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) data developed for the evaluation of an urban moss-based air pollution mitigation display designed and assessed for implementation in Riga, Latvia. The dataset supports environmental impact analysis of a nature-based solution integrating moss vegetation into a circular economy framework for urban air quality improvement.The data include inventory parameters and modelling inputs used to assess the environmental performance of the moss display across its life cycle stages, including material sourcing, production, transportation, installation, operation, maintenance, and end-of-life scenarios. Particular attention is given to the reuse of materials and circular design principles aimed at reducing resource consumption and waste generation.The dataset comprises:material inventory data for structural and supporting components of the moss display;assumptions related to reused and recycled materials;energy consumption estimates during operation and maintenance;transport scenarios relevant to the Riga urban context;system boundary definitions and functional unit parameters;environmental impact calculation inputs used for LCA modelling.The dataset was developed within research on nature-based solutions and circular economy approaches for air pollution mitigation using moss systems.
