Data for: Spruce representation in zonal woodlands may be overestimated using pollen spectra from peatlands

Here are the data about avarage fossil pollen percentages from 73 profiles and cores in the Western Carpathians, data about recent pollen count from surface samples in Golove mláky Nature reserve and forest inventory data of National Forest Centre (Slovakia) for spruce and beech in study area (radius 700 and 1000m).本数据集涵盖以下三类数据：西喀尔巴阡山脉73个剖面与岩芯的平均化石花粉百分含量数据；戈洛夫姆拉基自然保护区（Golove mláky Nature Reserve）表层样品的现代花粉计数数据；以及斯洛伐克国家森林中心（National Forest Centre, Slovakia）针对半径分别为700米与1000米的研究区域内云杉与山毛榉的森林清查数据。
