ANALYSIS OF THE TECHNICAL, TACTICAL AND PHYSICAL PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE FRANCE NATIONAL FOOTBALL TEAM

This study aims to determine university students’ views on the technical and tactical performance characteristics of the France national football team. A survey model was used in the research. The “France National Football Team Performance Perception Scale,” developed for the purposes of this study, was employed as the data collection tool. According to the findings, participants evaluated the team positively in the areas of transition play, attacking effectiveness, defensive organization, physical capacity, individual player quality, and tactical flexibility. No statistically significant difference was found in the overall scale scores according to gender. However, students with regular football participation reported slightly higher evaluations of tactical organization and transition play. In conclusion, university students generally perceive the France national team as a physically strong, tactically adaptable, and technically effective team with high-level individual quality.
