Fraser River Delta Upper Slope Turbidity Meter Deployed 2018-10-04

The WET Labs ECO-NTUS 762 was deployed on 2018-10-04 at Fraser River Delta Upper Slope. This site is located on the upper slope of the Fraser River delta, where depth is approximately 100 metres. This device is a Turbidity Meter. Turbidity meters are sensors that detect scattered light from suspended particles in water. The amount of scattered light that reaches the detector is proportional to the turbidity or particle concentration in the water. It was deployed on a fixed platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 2.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.WET Labs公司的ECO-NTUS 762型设备于2018年10月4日布放于弗雷泽河三角洲上斜坡（Fraser River Delta Upper Slope）点位。该点位地处弗雷泽河三角洲上斜坡区域，水深约100米。本设备为浊度计（Turbidity Meter），浊度计是一类用于探测水体悬浮颗粒散射光的传感器，到达探测器的散射光强度与水体浊度或水中悬浮颗粒浓度呈正比关系。该设备布放于固定观测平台之上。本次布放获取的数据已完成归档，并通过加拿大海洋网络（Ocean Networks Canada）的Oceans 2.0数字基础设施对外共享；所有数据均遵循既定规范开展质量管控，并生成衍生数据产品。
