Number of adults with disabilities by functional disability, age, sex

Information on adults with disabilities has been selected for whom the decision of the State Medical Commission for Health and Work Ability Examination (VDEĀVK) regarding certain disability is valid during the reporting period. The statistics are obtained from the welfare information system LabIS. The age of a person shall be determined at the end of the reference period or at the date of death of the person. One person may have several disability groups at the same time. The information includes adults with disabilities in the total number of persons with disabilities, disaggregated by disability groups, ages, genders and for whom the decision of the VDEĀVC is in force during the reference period.
