Pteropod assemblage, LDX, and shell size of Heliconoides inflatus in Core SK291/GC17, eastern Arabian Sea, during last 25000 years

The dataset includes the relative abundance of different pteropod species, opaque/total shell ratio in Heliconoides inflatus (earlier known as Limacina inflata), Limacina Dissolution Index (LDX) derived from H. inflatus, and the average shell size of H. inflatus from ~25,000 to 3,500 cal yr BP in Core SK291/GC17 retrieved from a water depth of ~182 meters off Goa coast, the eastern Arabian Sea. It is the first report to show the temporal variation in the shell size of H. inflatus from the eastern Arabian Sea.
