Yarrow Point Junction Box Deployed 2021-05-25

The Oceanworks Enclosure 002 was deployed on 2021-05-25 at Yarrow Point. Yarrow Point is located in the Saanich Inlet, north of Coles Bay. This device is a Junction Box. Junction Boxes supply power and communications to deployed instruments. Junction boxes have a number of serial and ethernet ports, including 400V ethernet ports that enable connections to other junction boxes and high-voltage instruments. Junction boxes can convert high voltages to lower voltages (15V, 24V or 48V) required by many instruments. It was deployed on a fixed platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 2.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.Oceanworks Enclosure 002型设备于2021年5月25日部署于亚罗点（Yarrow Point）。亚罗点位于科尔斯湾（Coles Bay）北侧的萨尼奇湾（Saanich Inlet）内。该设备为接线盒（Junction Box），可为部署的观测仪器提供电力与通信链路。接线盒配备多种串行与以太网端口，其中包含400V以太网端口，可用于连接其他接线盒与高压观测仪器，同时可将高压转换为多数仪器所需的低压（15V、24V或48V）。该设备部署于固定式平台之上，本次部署获取的数据已完成归档，并通过加拿大海洋网络（Ocean Networks Canada）的Oceans 2.0数字基础设施对外开放；所有数据均遵循既定规范完成质量管控，并衍生出配套数据产品。
