Plastic waste volume in selected European countries 2016, by treatment

This statistic depicts the volume of plastic waste collected in selected European countries in 2016, by treatment. According to data, in Germany the volume of plastic wastes disposed in landfills added up to 40 thousand tons, the lowest amount among the considered countries. By contrast, 1,273 thousand tons of plastics collected in Italy went to landfills.
