We investigated the bacterial diversity along two chronological sequences in a glacier foreland in the High Arctic. This study looks at the spatial and temporal patterns of bacterial communities in a High Arctic glacier foreland. 16S rRNA genes were isolated from 52 soil samples obtained from glacier foreland.
