AOS: ambient nephelometer measurements - aosnephdry

The nephelometer measures the total scattering and hemispheric backscattering of aerosol. Nephelometers are deployed in pairs, with one measuring the ambient conditions and the other measuring the scattering as a function of slowly increasing or decreasing relative humidity (RH). The combination can then be used to derive the hygroscopic growth factor as a function of RH: f(RH). \n \nThe nephelometer is part of the aerosol observing system (AOS).浊度计（nephelometer）可测定气溶胶的总散射与半球后向散射强度。该类设备通常成对部署，一台用于监测环境气溶胶条件，另一台则测量随相对湿度（relative humidity，RH）缓慢升降变化的散射信号。结合两组测量数据，可推导得到以相对湿度为变量的吸湿增长因子f(RH)。 浊度计是气溶胶观测系统（aerosol observing system，AOS）的组成部分。
