The dataset represents the effects on the ground associated with the flood event of 8 July 1996 in the Province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola and Novara. For the Municipality of Armeno, the information also concerns the processes and effects caused by the cloud of 11 August 1996. The following are shown: the delimitation of the flooded areas, the failures on the conoids, the slope failures; in addition, the types of damage detected were represented.
