Chlorpyrifos Photodegradation Lab Data Performed in solutions of Arctic Natural Organic Matter Isolated from Surface Waters Collected Near Toolik Lake, Alaska

The current-use pesticide chlorpyrifos can be transported via global distillation to the Arctic. Here, natural organic matter (NOM) was isolated from sampled Arctic surface waters and then utilized in subsequent laboratory experiments to assess the photodegradation kinetics of chlorpyrifos. Surface waters sampled are from around the Toolik Lake area, Alaska and specified therin. The data reported contain characterization of surface waters, characterization of NOM isolates, and also light-screening corrected kinetics data of chlorpyrifos decay from laboratory experiments utilizing solutions of those NOM isolates.
