Automated Smart Sericulture Using Embedded System
收藏资源简介:
Sericulture refers to the cultivation of silkworms for silk production. Critical factors like temperature, humidity, and light intensity significantly influence silkworm development, and adjustments must be made to meet the specific requirements at each stage. Environmental changes play a key role in the growth and advancement of silkworms. In India, sericulture is an essential occupation, but many farmers still rely on outdated techniques. This highlights the need for modernization in sericulture practices. This initiative proposes automation in sericulture cultivation. The model aims to leverage modern technologies like Internet of Things (IoT) to create a smart, automated system for sericulture. Monitoring environmental factors within the silkworm rearing house is crucial to enhancing silk yield. A unique aspect of this model involves the development of a system that tracks temperature, humidity, and light intensity using sensors and Arduino. When any parameters deviate, notifications are sent to the users through an internet connection and the system controls the parameters with the help of thermoelectric cooling module (Peltier module). Additionally, data analysis and real time data is managed.
