Deep Arctic Ocean Canada Basin Mooring Data

Temperature, salinity, velocity and pressure data from one location in the deep Canada Basin. The instrument was a McLane Moored Profiler (MMP). Data were collected as an extension of the Beaufort Gyre Observing System (BGOS, http://www.whoi.edu/beaufortgyre/) on mooring A. These and shallower measurements on the same mooring are available also at the BGOS website. The MMP profiled between about 2100 m and 3040 m for 25 days (61 profiles) after which time a mechanical failure prevented it from profiling and the remainder of the year-long time series has only measurements between 2144 and 2148 m.
