INSYDE-content is a probabilistic, multi-variable synthetic model designed to estimate flood damage for household contents on a component-by-component basis. It adopts the general model framework proposed in the original INSYDE for buildings (Dottori et al., 2016), where damages are first modelled component-wise in physical terms and then converted into monetary values using the full replacement costs derived from reference price lists. Model details and assumptions are described in the corresponding paper published in Natural Hazards and Earth System Sciences (Acharya et al. 2025).
