V4 Smart Tourism Destination Evaluation Database

This dataset contains survey responses from 2,343 tourists who visited destinations in the Visegrad Group countries - Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia - between 2017 and 2021. The data were collected from March to December 2021 and include tourists’ evaluations of destination safety, quality of tourism infrastructure, and overall impressions, together with socio-demographic characteristics such as age, employment status, education, and average monthly net income. Most destination-related criteria were assessed using a five-point Likert scale. The dataset was created to support the development and validation of a neuro-fuzzy decision support model for evaluating and ranking smart tourism destinations according to tourists’ preferences, target needs, and social profiles.
