Complete Genomes of Livestock-Associated Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus CC9 and CC398 Strains Isolated from Pigs and Swine Workers in Central Thailand

This study provides a comprehensive analysis of the complete genomes of LA-MRSA CC9 and CC398 strains isolated from healthy pigs and swine workers in Thailand. The isolates, obtained from nasal swabs, were managed by Dr. Pattrarat Chanchaithong from the Department of Veterinary Microbiology, Faculty of Veterinary Science, Chulalongkorn University. The whole genome sequencing was performed using both Illumina and Oxford Nanopore technologies at Hokkaido University International Institute for Zoonosis Control in Japan.
