Research shows activation and accumulation of platelets in the heart after myocardial infarction (MI). This is associated with more severe myocardial inflammation and complications. We aim to establish Magnetic Resonance (MR)-based molecular imaging targeting activated platelets in the mouse model of MI and develop it as a tool for clinical detection and monitoring of high risk patients.

研究证实,心肌梗死(myocardial infarction,MI)发生后,血小板可在心脏内被激活并发生聚集。该现象与更为严重的心肌炎症反应及并发症密切相关。本研究旨在构建针对心肌梗死小鼠模型中激活血小板的磁共振(Magnetic Resonance,MR)分子成像技术,并将其开发为用于临床检测及高危患者病情监测的工具。
