Mexico Internet Quality Dataset Derived from Ookla Open Data

This dataset contains 10,000 balanced records of fixed and mobile internet performance in Mexico. It was created as a derived public dataset from Speedtest by Ookla Global Fixed and Mobile Network Performance Maps. The original data was filtered to Mexico, cleaned, transformed from kbps to Mbps, enriched with derived speed and latency metrics, and labeled into four relative internet quality classes: poor, fair, good, and excellent. The dataset includes average download speed, average upload speed, idle latency, loaded latency, number of tests, number of devices, derived latency differences, a 100/20 Mbps reference flag, a relative quality score, and a categorical quality class. The dataset is intended for academic use in exploratory data analysis, statistical analysis, clustering, and machine learning classification tasks.
