Coastal topo-bathymetric MNT of Pas-de-Calais Strait (TANDEM project)

The coastal topo-bathymetric product of the Strait of Pas-de-Calais at a resolution of 0.0002° (~20 m) was produced as part of the TANDEM project. This coastal NTM extends over a territory between the eastern sleeve and the Meridional North Sea, including the French coastline of the North – Pas-de-Calais as well as part of the British coastline, in County Kent, from the south of the Thames estuary to Rye. This NTM is intended to be implemented in the hydrodynamic models of the TANDEM project in order to estimate the coastal effects of tsunamis for the Atlantic and Channel, where French nuclear power plants have been installed for about 30 years. This product is available with the lowest astronomical sea level (PBMA) or mean sea level (NM) as a vertical reference.
