Randomly assembled SynComs suppress <i>B. goodwinii</i> and <i>G. quercinecans in vitro</i>

The pathogen-suppresive effect of randomly assembled SynComs was tested against fluoresencetly labelled strains of the bacteria associated to acute oak decline, <i>Brenneria goodwinii </i>(RFP-Bg) and <i>Gibbsiella quercinecans </i>(GFP-Gq). The fluorescence of the target bacteria was tracked over a 48 h growth period and analyised in this scripts.The .qmd and its respective rendered version (.html) contain the processing of the fluorescence data (i.e. baseline-corrections and data transformation), creation of growth curves, calculation of area under the curve and modelling of the data. A folder with the input files (i.e. fluorescence values per each bacterium, list of isolates in the SynComs, co-culture controls) are provided too. A README.txt file is also provided with a description of file contents and software requirements.
