Data contain information on farming households in the Peanut Basin of Senegal, around the town of Kaolack. One household head, or a household member with knowledge of groundnut (peanut) production was interviewed. Questions covered demographic and socio-economic charcteristics of the household, and groundnut production, drying, storing, and sales practices. Measures of aflatoxins, coliforms, E.coli, and moulds in samples of stored groundnuts were conducted in a lab and associated with each household in the dataset.
