Data from Field Experiments on Sea Ice Restoration by Artificial Flooding

Field experiments were conducted in the Vallunden lake on Spitzbergen. Snow-covered first-year sea ice was artificially flooded to investigate geophysical effects during the pumping of snow-covered first-year sea ice, the growth of snow ice and melting of snow ice and congelation ice layer.<br>The data was collected by application of four SAMS Enterprise Snow and Ice Mass Balance Apparatuses (SIMBAs), two radiometers, and one anemometer for a longest period between 21.03.2024-24.06.2024.<br>A full description of the data and experimental design has been submitted to Data in Brief.
