OverviewTheWHOGuidelinesformalariabringtogethertheOrganization’smostup-to-daterecommendationsformalariainoneuser-friendlyandeasy-to-navigateonlineplatform.TheWHOGuidelinesformalariasupersedes2previousWHOpublications:theGuidelinesforthetreatmentofmalaria,thirdeditionandtheGuidelinesformalariavectorcontrol.Recommendationsonmalariawillcontinuetobereviewedand,whereappropriate,updatedbasedonthelatestavailableevidence.AnyupdatedrecommendationswillalwaysdisplaythedateofthemostrecentrevisionintheMAGICappplatform.Witheachupdate,anewPDFversionoftheconsolidatedguidelineswillalsobeavailablefordownloadontheWHOwebsite.ThisversionoftheGuidelinesincludesrevisedinformationregardingtheWHOrecommendationforuseofindoorresidualsprayingtopreventmalariaandtheconditionalrecommendationagainsttheuseoftopicalrepellentstocontrolmalariaatthecommunitylevel.Itreplacestheversionspublishedon16February2021,13July2021,18February2022,31March2022,3June2022,25November2022and14March2023.
