Gene expression data from murine lung cells of C57BL6JJcl and Mayumi-Emphysema mouse

Mayumi-Emphysema (ME) mouse is an inbred strain originally from C57BL/6JJcl (B6) by serial intercrossing more than 20 times. ME mouse can be maintained by regular accommodation and are viable and fertile. However, ME mouse spontaneously develops hereditary emphysema with aging. ME mouse shows partial emphysema at young and panlobular-like emphysema at adult. To find features in emphysematous lung cells of young ME mice, we compared gene expression from lung specimens of control B6 and ME mice at 8-week age. To compare gene expression between B6 and ME mice, we mixed total RNA by 6-biological replicate from lung cells of B6 or ME mice at 8-week old.
