Employed work force in Vantaa by the industry classification

Employed labour force living in Vantaa by industry (TOL 2008) as of 31 December 2008. Includes data on employed labour by industry. ##Territorial boundaries District boundaries according to Vantaa district division. ##Data source Statistics Finland employment statistics. The data are derived from administrative and statistical registers and other datasets. ##Target set and cropping Employed labour force includes all persons aged 18 to 74 who during the last week of the year were in gainful employment and were not unemployed as jobseekers at the TE Office or performing conscript or non-military service. The information on employment is based on data from the earnings-related pension and tax authorities. A person’s field of activity is determined by the sector of his/her job. Everyone working in the same establishment will receive the same industry regardless of their profession. The classification of economic activities is in accordance with Statistics Finland’s publication Classification of Industries (TOL) 2008. If the area employs less than 100 people, the data is encrypted.
