资源简介:
C. sakazakii, formerly named as Enterobacter sakazakii is a Gram-negative opportunistic pathogen, which can be life-threatening especially when contaminating powdered milk formula for infants. In order to expand our knowledge about this group of pathogens, multiple confirmed C.sakazakii samples were sequenced and analyzed. In this work, we present the genome of isolate Cr268.C. sakazakii Cr268 MLST 458, was originally isolated from Infant Formula in 2009.Sequencing was performed on Illumina MiSeq platform using 250-bp paired-end reads v2 kit. Total number of reads were 1,352,469, representing median base coverage of 68. The draft genome of C. sakazakii Cr268 revealed 4,477,217 bp with an average G+C content of 56.87%. PATRIC analysis predicts 4,338 protein-coding sequences (CDS), 77 transfer RNA (tRNA) genes sequences and 11 ribosomal RNA (rRNA) genes, non-functional CRISPR system that contains only the cas3 gene, and two CRISPR Direct repeats (DR) arrays with 22 spacers. Many of the genes annotated have homology to known Efflux pumps such as AcrAB-TolC and AcrAD-TolC, and antibiotic resistance genes such as MarA and MarB.
