Australian Broadband Guarantee

The Australian Broadband Guarantee (ABG) was an Australian Government initiative designed to help residential and small business premises access high-quality broadband services regardless of where they were located. The program targeted premises unable to access commercial metro-comparable services, particularly those living in remote parts of Australia.\r\n\r\nUnder the ABG, a metro-comparable broadband service was defined as any service that offered a minimum 512 kilobits per second download and 128 kilobits per second upload data speed, with three gigabytes per month data usage at a total cost of $2500 GST inclusive over three years (including installation and connection fees).

澳大利亚宽带保障计划（Australian Broadband Guarantee, ABG）是澳大利亚政府发起的一项专项举措，旨在协助住宅与小型商业场所无论身处何地，均可接入高质量宽带服务。该计划的服务对象为无法接入可媲美城市商业级别的宽带服务的场所，尤其是地处澳大利亚偏远地区的相关场所。

依据ABG计划的定义，可媲美城市商业级别的宽带服务需满足以下标准：下载速率不低于512千比特每秒，上传速率不低于128千比特每秒，每月数据使用额度为3吉字节，三年内总费用为2500澳元（含商品及服务税（Goods and Services Tax, GST）），且该费用包含安装与入网服务费。
