Asylum applicant means a person having submitted an application for international protection or having been included in such application as a family member during the reference period. New asylum applicant means a person having submitted an application for international protection for the first time.庇护申请人（Asylum applicant）指在参考期内提交国际保护申请，或作为家庭成员被纳入该类申请的人员。新增庇护申请人（New asylum applicant）指首次提交国际保护申请的人员。
