Reference Data for "Directional shifts in vegetation responses to water availability across China"

Given that the original data are publicly available and the relevant links have already been provided in the manuscript, this dataset only supplies the procedural data.
This dataset comprises:
1. The responses of kNDVI to scPDSI and SPEIs across each 5-year sliding window (θscPDSI, θSPEI03, and θSPEI06);
2. The linear trends of θscPDSI, θSPEI03, and θSPEI06;
3. The spatial distributions of regions exhibiting increased sensitivity for θscPDSI, θSPEI03, and θSPEI06, as well as areas that experienced response direction shifts.
The data are stored in the ‘.zarr’ and '.nc' formats. They can be read using the Python xarray library, for example:
