Directing the Restorative Effect of Nature A Moderated Mediation Dataset on Nature Relatedness and Sensory Sensitivity

This dataset explores the psychological and cognitive restorative effects of nature walking compared to indoor treadmill walking. It includes data from 80 healthy participants (40 male, 40 female) who underwent a randomized controlled trial. The data supports a moderated mediation model, investigating how NR moderates the impact of environment on sensory activation, which in turn mediates the restorative outcomes. All environmental variables (temperature, humidity, noise) were strictly controlled between the Outdoor Green (OG) and Indoor Control (IC) settings.
