Bibliometrics and Visual Analysis of the Research Status and Trends of PTSD Related to Disasters From 2015 to 2025

This dataset underpins a bibliometric review article on research trends in post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) following disasters. The data collection involved a systematic retrieval of scholarly literature from the Web of Science (WOS) Core Collection, conducted on August 20, 2025. The search was designed to capture studies published between January 1, 2015, and August 20, 2025, that explore the association between disasters (e.g., natural disasters, human-made catastrophes, emergencies) and PTSD. Following a rigorous screening process (including de-duplication and manual relevance checks), a final cleaned dataset of 1,120 peer-reviewed articles (articles and reviews) was established. This dataset served as the foundational material for subsequent bibliometric and visual analyses using CiteSpace and VOSviewer, enabling examinations of country/institution collaboration networks, keyword co-occurrence, and thematic cluster evolution.
