Damping of Torsional Vibrations in Servodrives Using Slow Resonance Ratio Controller

This paper presents the problem of damping torsional vibrations in high-dynamic servodrives. The time delays introduced into the speed control loop due to digital control and processing are an important factor from the point of view of the ability for active damping of vibration.
