1M by 1M quadrats where placed randomly near the stong pond grassland and saywell woodlock at York University on Tuesday 30th September 2014 from 2:30pm - 5:30 pm. The number of insects, molluscs and spiders observed within 2 minute in each quadrant were counted and noted. 10 different replicates were done in each habitat (i.e. grassland (G) and woodlock (W)).
