Replicatation Data for Becoming Sweden: Unpacking Women's Representation and Welfare State Building from a Historical Perspective

This replication package accompanies the article “Becoming Sweden: Unpacking Women's Representation and Welfare State Building from a Historical Perspective” by Frödin Gruneau and Mechkova. The package contains all data and code necessary to reproduce the analyses in the paper, including both cross-sectional (1919 election) and panel (1919–1937) analyses. The main script (master.do) runs the full replication. The code is written in Stata (version 16 or later recommended). Required user-written packages include estout, grc1leg, and stripplot. The repository is structured as follows: the root directory contains the master script, while the code/ folder includes scripts for the cross-sectional and panel analyses.
