House of maternal assistants in Mayenne

The departmental council of Mayenne makes available to the general public the list of nursing homes of the territory. According to Ordinance n° 2021-611 of 19 May 2021 on family services, the maternal assistant may, under conditions defined by decree of the Council of State, accommodate minors in a place called “maternal assistants’ house”, separate from his home and that of the minors welcomed and their legal representatives. The number of maternal assistants who can work in the same nursing home is one to six professionals, up to four of them simultaneously. The number of children simultaneously accommodated in a nursing home may not exceed twenty.
