A tall, two-story clapboard-sided building is pictured at center with thirty-six students of various ages and two adults standing on or near its steps. The older students stand on the top step, and appear to be roughly five years older than the younger, pre-pubescent students that sit on the steps below them, of which the girls appear to be separated to the left, the boys to the right. A man with moustache leans against the banister to the far left, while a second moustached man is pictured at the top of the steps, also to the left. The school features two main doors separated by two windows. Four windows are visible on the top floor.
