资源简介:
"Located on Pepperwood Preserve in Sonoma County California Upper Martin MET (meteorological station), Lower Martin MET, Rogers MET, and Redwood MET are four new weather stations installed on the preserve in the wake of the October 2017 wildfires which destroyed much of the existing sensor infrastructure. These weather stations represent four of the many integral monitoring stations used to fulfill Pepperwood’s role as a Sentinel Site tracking long term indicators of ecosystem health and change. Lower Martin MET is located at Pepperwood’s northern boundary (522572E, 4273059N) and represents the lower end of an elevational gradient running North-South along the preserve. Upper Martin MET , located near the center of the preserve, (524879E, 4271127N) represents the upper end of this elevational gradient. Redwood MET(526292E, 4270627N) is located on the eastern side of the preserve and sits at the top of Pepperwood’s Redwood and Weimar watersheds, both tributaries to Franz Creek. Finally, Rogers MET (522572E, 4273059N) sits within the Markwest drainage on the southern edge of the preserve. Station installation was completed in June of 2019 for all stations Each station includes a suite of Campbell Scientific sensors monitoring both the above and below ground ecosystem. Radio telemetry serves as the backhaul for these stations. Data are automatically uploaded to pepperwood.onerain.com"
