VPRS 17056 County Court Fee Book (1865 - ?1877); Roll of Attorneys (?1870 - 1936), Echuca

This one volume was used for two different functions over time.County Court Fee Book 1865 - ?1877: records fees paid in the course of an action. Entries record date fee paid; case number of the plaint; amount paid; revenue fee; bailiff fees; and, from 1871, the signature of the bailiff.Roll of Attorneys ?1870 - 1936: required under the provisions of the County Court Act. Signatures only for the period until 1883. Subsequently, there were letters pasted into volume requesting admission but still including signatures.
