1:1,000,000 Scale Vegetation Distribution Map of Guizhou Province (2000) is derived from the *Vegetation Map of China* compiled by the Institute of Geography, Chinese Academy of Sciences and State Planning Commission. The original cartographic documents were scanned and digitized, with map data digitization and vector map editing performed using ArcGIS software. The dataset was encoded in accordance with the classification system of the 1:4,070,000 Scale Vegetation Map of China. Vector polygons with unique identifiers are used to represent vegetation types taking formation groups as their basic units.
