Revealing microbial adaptation through gut microbiome Single-Cell sequencing after antibiotic treatment

Our project employed single-cell sequencing to analyze the gut microbiome of an adult male patient who experienced acute cerebral hemorrhage and subsequent antibiotic treatment. Our aim was twofold: firstly, to dissect the microbial composition post-treatment, and secondly, to investigate the co-evolution of antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs), horizontal gene transfer (HGT), and their dynamics among gut microbiota.
