Transcriptomic analysis of cerianthids venoms

The aim of this project is to explore novel transcriptomes for four adult cerianthid species (Ceriantheopsis americana, Ceriantheomorphe brasiliensis, Isarachnanthus nocturnus, and Pachycerianthus cf. maua) and determine putative venom-like gene candidates across each using a combination of published and customized annotation pipelines.Tissues from adult tentacles were used in the construction of these libraries.
