Share of single (isolated) private households aged 65 or over in total private households. People living in nursing homes or other communities are not included in these figures. The household typology used is close to LIPRO. This typology was adopted by a working group comprising the Statbel, the Federal Planning Bureau and the statistical institutes of the three regions (SVR, IBSA and IWEPS).
