Rubidium isotope and elemental compositions of tektites

This dataset contains the data associated with the manuscript “The behavior of rubidium during evaporation: evidence from element and isotope compositions of tektites”. The dataset includes sample information, bulk major- and trace-element compositions, in situ major- and trace-element data and high-precision δ87Rb values for 14 tektites from four strewn fields: 11 Australasian tektites, one bediasite, one moldavite, and one ivorite. It also includes micro-drilling profile data for three Australasian tektites and supporting information used to evaluate Rb behavior during impact-related evaporation. Rubidium isotope compositions are reported relative to NIST SRM984, and analytical uncertainties and units are provided in the data tables.
