ARTISTIC CHARACTERISTICS OF MUHAMMAD ALI'S "LIGHT IN THE DOOR" AND ISSUES OF ITS TEACHING

This article examines the artistic features of Muhammad Ali’s novel “The Light in the Dome” and explores methodological approaches to teaching the work in modern literary education. The study analyzes the narrative structure, imagery, symbolism, character development, and language of the work, highlighting its aesthetic and philosophical depth. Special attention is given to the symbolic role of the “dome” and “light” as central metaphors representing spiritual awakening, moral values, and cultural identity. Furthermore, the article discusses pedagogical strategies for effectively teaching the novel, including interactive, student-centered, and integrative approaches. The findings demonstrate that the work possesses high educational and moral potential and can serve as an important tool in developing students’ critical thinking, aesthetic perception, and national consciousness.
