Interview of Stanley Sheinbaum, President of the Los Angeles Police Commission, about the root causes of the civil disturbance, the Los Angeles Police Department's preparedness to handle a major civil disturbance, the Commission's oversight of and relationship with the Los Angeles Police Department, and the adequacy of theLos Angeles Police Department's response to the unrest, 1992 July 6.
