Film/television Biographical Book Collection

This is a collection of books about people who are involved in the film and/or television industry which are grouped together at the AFI Research Collection. The biographical collection is (for the AFIRC) a very large collection of books (over 1500). It consists primarily of critical examinations of an artists/crew members working life or a biography of the artist/crew member in question. A number of the books in the collection focus on more than one person. The scope of the biographical collection is worldwide and ranges from silent cinema to the present day.

本数据集为归集于美国电影学会研究馆藏（AFI Research Collection）的影视行业从业者相关藏书合集。该馆的传记类馆藏（AFIRC，即美国电影学会研究馆藏的缩写）体量庞大，藏书量逾1500册。其馆藏内容主要围绕影视从业者的职业生涯展开批评研究，或是记述相关从业者的个人传记。馆藏中有部分书籍同时记述多位从业者。该传记馆藏的覆盖范围遍及全球，时间跨度从默片电影时代直至当代。
